About Doozers
Living at the edges of our world and right under our noses are Doozers. Just who are Doozers? They’re green, they’re cute, they’re three inches tall, and they’re full of energy, ideas, and enthusiasm. Kids love playing with the Doozers because play is what they are all about!
The animated preschool series for kids featuring four best friends who live in Doozer Creek, a wonderful blending of a fantastical, modern and eco-friendly community. Dubbed "the Pod Squad," Spike, Molly Bolt, Flex and Daisy Wheel bounce from one fabulous kid adventure to the next. Like a scout troop, “the Pod Squad” engages in exciting projects and has a blast playing together. The series celebrates the spirit of being an innovator and inspires all kids to have an "I can do it" attitude. They put their ideas into action! If that sounds like work, think again! What kid wouldn’t want to design their very own Doozer Derby racing car, fly in a jetpack (or better yet...fly with a kaleidoscope of butterflies!), or build a giant life-sized gingerbread house?! Whatever they are doing, “the Pod Squad” always manages to have a fantastic time!
Education Approach
DOOZERS engages with the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) initiative by featuring a design thinking curriculum targeted for preschoolers. Preschoolers are natural inventors, creative thinkers and engineers. DOOZERS inspires children to celebrate innovation and come up with their own solutions to problems and desires in their kid lives. By fostering young inventors, DOOZERS opens the content areas and exploration opportunities in engineering, design thinking, artistic expression, creative problem solving, scientific inquiry, and hands-on making appropriate for this age group.
